What is a U.S. Tourist Visa?
Tourist visitor visas (B2 visas) are issued for travelers entering the United States for short stays, for leisure, tourism, business (not employment!) or medical visits, or a combination of all these.
The standard requirements for a visitor visa are relatively simple. However, based on your personal situation and the place you will be applying from, additional documentation may be required which can lead to substantial delays.
Many a travel plan has been ruined by visa delays that could have been predicted; don’t be the next one!
The most common causes for delays and even rejections are incomplete information on the application, missing pieces of evidence and other legal obstacles. Most of these (though not all) can be avoided easily by working with a dedicated and experienced travel & immigration consultant.
